Lord's Day July 17, 2022 Sermon and Sunday school

Habakkuk was greatly disturbed because of the sin he saw in Jerusalem so he complained to God in Chapter 1. The Lord answered, but the answer caused him more problems. Why would the Lord use a more wicked nation to chastise God's covenant people? The Lord answered . . . Habakkuk was satisfied with that answer!

The sermon, taken from Habakkuk 2, gives the reasons and emphasizes the one main reason why Habakkuk was able to rejoice as he expresses in 3:17, 18. The main reason is that the saint lives by faith.

Do you live by faith in such a way that you can rejoice even in the midst of great trials?
